1. High-Speed Steel Saw Blades (HSS Saw Blades)
Material Characteristics:
High-speed steel saw blades are made from alloy steel containing elements such as carbon (C), tungsten (W), molybdenum (Mo), chromium (Cr), and vanadium (V).
They offer excellent cutting efficiency, high strength, heat resistance, and wear resistance.
Through specific heat treatment processes like cutting, forging, annealing, and quenching, they achieve high thermal hardness, maintaining high hardness at elevated temperatures.

Applications:
Widely used for cutting carbon steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, alloy pipes, and similar materials.
Suitable for most pipe saw operations, especially common in medium to small-scale production and maintenance.

2. Tungsten Carbide Saw Blades
Material Characteristics:
Belonging to high-end cutting tools, tungsten carbide saw blades are made from hard alloy materials including tungsten carbide.
They possess extremely high hardness and wear resistance, capable of cutting high-strength and high-hardness metals.
Excellent heat resistance, maintaining stable cutting performance in high-temperature environments.

Applications:
Ideal for cutting stainless steel, alloy steel, titanium alloys, and other difficult-to-machine materials.
Excellent performance in applications demanding high cutting precision and surface finish.

3. Tungsten-Molybdenum Alloy Saw Blades

Material Characteristics:
Tungsten-molybdenum alloy saw blades are a newly developed material for pipe saw machines.
Compared to tungsten carbide saw blades, they offer better corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and wear resistance.
They maintain stable cutting performance in complex cutting processes and harsh cutting environments.

Applications:
Suitable for cutting complex shapes and high-precision pipes.
Widely used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, and natural gas where high corrosion resistance and heat resistance are required.

4. Diamond Saw Blades

Material Characteristics:
Diamond saw blades are among the most commonly used materials in pipe saw machines.
They boast extremely high hardness, capable of cutting almost any material including glass, ceramics, marble, granite, and other hard-to-machine materials.
However, they come with high costs and require careful attention to safety during use.

Applications:
Mainly used for cutting non-metallic materials and high-hardness materials.
Widely applied in industries such as construction, stone processing, and glass processing.

5. Other Materials
In addition to the above common materials, there are special types of High-speed steel saw blades such as ceramic saw blades, cubic boron nitride saw blades, etc. These blades often possess unique properties and applications, though they are less commonly used in high-speed pipe saw machines.
